Clarksville Park and Recreation’s Fright on Franklin provides Halloween Family Fun
Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Parks and Recreation’s annual Fright on Franklin was a huge success, with thousands coming out to enjoy great weather, cute costumes and seemingly endless buckets of candy.
This year’s activities were rescheduled for Sunday, which turned out to be a great move, as areas of Clarksville were devastated by strong winds that moved through Montgomery County Saturday afternoon.
About 70 tents were lined up along Franklin Street, Public Square, First Street and Strawberry Alley, from which costumed volunteers from local businesses and organizations handed out treats from 3:00pm to 6:00pm.

Planters Bank Presents… “The Wizard of OZ” at Roxy Regional Theatre, Sunday, November 3rd
Clarksville, TN – Follow the yellow brick road to the Roxy Regional Theatre on the corner of Franklin Street and First Street in Downtown Clarksville on Sunday, November 3rd, 2019 as we go “over the rainbow” with Judy Garland! Planters Bank Presents… “The Wizard of OZ” at 2:00pm.
In 1939’s much-loved musical movie adaptation of L. Frank Baum’s classic novel, Kansas girl Dorothy and her dog, Toto, are whisked by a tornado into the magical land of Oz, where they are joined by the Tin Man, the Scarecrow and the Cowardly Lion on an adventure down the Yellow Brick Road to persuade the Wizard to help her find her way home.
