Veterans Day Variety Show at the Roxy Regional Theatre features illusions, comedy and juggling on November 11th

Clarksville, TN – This Veterans Day, prepare to be amazed by an extraordinary evening filled with jaw-dropping illusions, laughter-inducing comedy, and mind-boggling juggling acts, all in honor of our brave service members.

Host Jeff Bornstein is bringing together an incredible lineup of world-class performers for the Veterans Day Variety Show at the Roxy Regional Theatre on Saturday, November 11th, at 7:00pm, with free admission for active duty military and veterans.

This family-friendly show, appropriate for ages 10 and up, will feature mind-bending illusions and jaw-dropping tricks by, among others, world-renowned magician Kevin King and juggling extraordinaire Scott Cantrell.

The Last Ride: Austin Peay State University’s final Percussion Ensemble Halloween Concert to be held October 27th

Clarksville, TN – The Austin Peay State University (APSU) iconic Percussion Ensemble Halloween Concert has been selling out shows and shaping seasonal traditions for decades, and this year, the ensemble is bringing the community along for one last ride.

The 39^th and final Percussion Ensemble Halloween Concert will feature back-to-back performances on Friday, October 27th at 6:00pm and 8:00pm in the George and Sharon Mabry Concert Hall. Admission is $5.00 or two cans of food donated to Loaves and Fishes.

Customs House Museum & Cultural Center Presents American Watercolor Society 156th Traveling Exhibition

Clarksville, TN – Through January 2nd, 2024, the Customs House Museum & Cultural Center will display artwork from one of the world’s oldest and most prestigious art societies.

Since 1866, the American Watercolor Society (AWS) has worked to advance education and foster the appreciation of watercolor painting in America. Their annual exhibition is open to all artists working in water-soluble media: watercolor, acrylic, casein, gouache, and egg tempera on paper.

Clarksville-Montgomery County Veterans Day Parade to be held November 11th

Montgomery County, TN – The Clarksville-Montgomery County Veterans Day Parade will take place on Saturday, November 11th, 2023, with pre-parade ceremonies set for 9:00am in front of the historic courthouse (south side) on Third Street in downtown Clarksville. The keynote speaker is Air Force Master Sergeant (Ret) Joe Thomas, Jr.

This year’s Veterans Day Parade theme is “Salute to Veterans in Law Enforcement.”

“The Veterans Day Parade allows the community to come together and thank our military veterans for their service and sacrifice. I hope to see our community come out to support some of our local heroes,” said Montgomery County Mayor Wes Golden.
