Customs House Museum and Cultural Center starts Winter set of Art Exhibitions
Clarksville, TN – The Customs House Museum and Cultural Center has several new art exhibits coming to the galleries this winter. Visitors will be pleasantly surprised by the wide range of themes, mediums and style showcased in the shows.
Anne Goetze, portrait artist Chantel Barber and many Tennessee-based watercolor artists will all be featured in the upcoming months.

Arts for Hearts Clarksville to host Supply Drive for Art in November
Clarksville, TN – Give artfully this November to Arts for Hearts, a program providing free art classes and workshops throughout the Clarksville area.
It is officially Fall and the season of caring and giving is fast approaching. Now is the perfect time to give back to the community by volunteering, giving or hosting supply drives to support your favorite local nonprofits.

CDE Lightband, TVA to match $15,000 in donations to Imagination Library of Montgomery County

With the present difficulties CDE Lightband and Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) have agreed to match up to $15,000 in donations as the Community Care Fund campaign is launched once again.
Montgomery County hires Elizabeth Quinton as New Program Event Manager for Downtown Commons
Montgomery County, TN – Montgomery County Government recently hired Elizabeth Quinton as the Downtown Commons’ Program Event Manager. She will be responsible for the management, planning and execution of events that take place at Downtown Commons as well as assisting with social media and marketing for Montgomery County.
Quinton brings with her experience in event planning and marketing most recently from Vanderbilt University.
Clarksville’s DBO Gallery displays Paintings Exhibition that brings awareness to Youth Homelessness
Clarksville, TN – A collection of 12 arresting paintings by Olasubomi Aka-Bashorun will go on display at DBO Gallery in Clarksville, Tennessee next month, to bring awareness to the homeless youth pandemic currently happening on an international scale.
#Homeless Youth Series comprises striking black and white portraits and vignettes that were inspired by Aka-Bashorun’s own encounters, and by photographs by artists like Lee Jeffries.
