For the seventh consecutive year, longtime supporters Mark, Ricki, John Mark and Will Holleman will host “Happenin’ at the Hollemans,” an evening of entertainment featuring the unveiling of the Roxy Regional Theatre’s highly-anticipated Season 37, on Friday, May 10th, from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.
Austin Peay State University student finishes 22nd overall at collegiate drone racing nationals

Clarksville, TN – Michael Hunter, lead pilot for the Drone Club at Austin Peay State University (APSU), finished 22nd overall and sixth in his bracket at the Collegiate Drone Racing Association nationals – in the school’s first season of competitive racing – Sunday, April 14th, 2019 at the University of North Dakota.

APSU Ranger Challenge team finishes eighth among ROTC teams at Sandhurst

Clarksville, TN – The Austin Peay State University (APSU) ROTC Ranger Challenge team represented the University well in the school’s first-ever trip to the Sandhurst global military skills competition at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, New York.

Clarksville, TN – At 6:30am Friday morning, the Austin Peay State University (APSU) ROTC Ranger Challenge team was one of the first four teams to start the Sandhurst military skills competition at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, New York.

The Austin Peay ROTC Ranger Challenge team cadets competing at the Sandhurst competition visited the 9/11 Memorial in New York City on Thursday.

Kenwood High School students to help sick children through Dance-A-Thon on May 11th

Clarksville, TN – This May, Kenwood High School is on a mission to help sick and injured children in Middle Tennessee. To achieve this ambitious goal, the school’s Dance Marathon, a student-led organization, will host a Dance-A-Thon at noon on May 11th, 2019 at the school.
“We are raising funds and awareness through Dance Marathon for our local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, which treats children from our area and provides life-saving care to sick and injured kids in need,” Lynda Courtney, Kenwood teacher and event organizer, said. “We need your help to reach our goal for the kids.”

A Dance-A-Thon will be held at Kenwood High School to raise money to help sick and injured children on May 11th.
APSU names University of Evansville administrator LaNeeca Williams as new chief diversity officer

Clarksville, TN – LaNeeça R. Williams, chief diversity officer at the University of Evansville, was recently named chief diversity officer and Title IX coordinator at Austin Peay State University (APSU). She will begin her new role on July 1st, 2019.
