APSU Employees share recent professional developments, activities
Clarksville, TN – Faculty and staff members at Austin Peay State University recently announced a number of publications, conferences and credentials as part of their professional and scholarly activities.
Michele Tyndall, project manager in the APSU Office of Public Relations and Marketing, and Dr. Melony Shemberger, former assistant director of communication at APSU, will present a session at The Council for Advancement and Support Education’s District III Conference in Orlando, FL, this February. Clarksville Community Concert Series kicks off 2013-14 season with Toomai String Quintet on September 27th
Clarksville, TN – The New York-based Toomai String Quintet will perform a program titled “Songs Without Words” at 7:30pm on Friday, September 27th, in the Austin Peay State University Mabry Concert Hall.
The evening marks the first concert of the 2013-14 Clarksville Community Concert Series, and it also is a component of the University’s annual Honors Orchestra Festival.

Clarksville’s Fronkensteen Theater to hold Redeye 10 Minute Play Festival
Clarksville, TN – At 8:00pm on Friday, September 27th, 6 directors will meet with six casts to rehearse and stage a 10 minute play. The only problem? They have only 24 hours to produce it.

APSU Provost Lecture Series: Art professor Jones to present Common Hope on September 26th
Clarksville, TN – An Austin Peay State University art professor will present the next session of the Provost Lecture Series this week at APSU.
Barry Jones, interim chair of the APSU Department of Art, will present at 3:00pm, Thursday, September 26th, in the Morgan University Center, Room 303. His lecture will be about the “Common Hope” community art project he developed this year.
