Customs House Museum Exhibits Archetypes
Clarksville, TN – A series of acrylic on paper paintings by Diane Shaw fill the walls of the Customs House Museum’s Planters Bank Peg Harvill Gallery through the month of June.
The abstract landscapes of Shaw’s work create a delightful, albeit eerie, sense of calm. Lone figures hide within the movements of color.
Clarksville Parks and Recreation to collect school supplies for Back to School Splash
Clarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department invites citizens to bring school supplies to get into select pools this summer!
Each of our five City pools will offer free admission to those who bring school supplies from the approved school supply list, on select Saturdays. The school supply list can be found at each pool.

Southern Divisional Bass Tournament 2013 Champion named at Clarksville Marina
Clarksville, TN – The Bass Federation Inc.’s Southern Divisional Tournament, hosted by The Tennessee Bass Federation, held their final weigh-in on Friday, June 7th with David Kneece being named the 2013 overall champion.
Kneece is from Gilbert, SC and had a three-day total of 41 pounds, nine-ounces. [Read more]

Unique Fireworks Show Celebrates 5th Anniversary
Clarksville, TN – The Lodge Sports Pub and Governor’s Square Mall have teamed up with Fuse Fireworks + Shows to bring a free fireworks show to Clarksville on Saturday June 8th, 2013.
This will be the 5th year for June Boom Over Clarksville at The Lodge. “Each year gets bigger, and this year will be no exception. We have combined June Boom with The Lodge’s 10th Birthday Party to make this event the best ever”, says Frank Caldwell owner of The Lodge.
Clarksville Parks and Recreation reschedules Doggie Palooza for Saturday, June 29th
Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Parks and Recreation is excited to announce the rescheduled date for the 6th Annual Doggie Palooza.
This free event, originally scheduled to take place June 1st, will now be held Saturday, June 29th from 1:00pm to 4:00pm, at the Heritage Park Bark Park.
Montgomery County to hold Horseshoe Pits Grand Opening Ceremony Saturday
Montgomery County, TN – Montgomery County Government invites the public to the Grand Opening Ceremony for the Horseshoe Pits at Civitan Park on Saturday, June 8th at 9:00am.
