I was laughing constantly during the performance and sometimes so hard I had to wipe tears from my eyes as I related to the situation the actors were portraying. I found myself constantly thinking, “Yeah been there” or “Done that”.
New Starbucks opens inside Austin Peay State University Woodward Library
Clarksville, TN – Justin Hasty, a chemical engineering technology major at Austin Peay State University, gets to campus early most mornings in desperate need of a cup of coffee. He shuffles over to the Woodward Library, instead of the Einstein’s Bros. Bagel shop in the Morgan University Center, yawns and then gets to work studying.
Cunningham Volunteer Fire Department’s 12th Annual Chili Supper a huge success
Cunningham, TN – The Cunningham Volunteer Fire Department held their 12th Annual Chili Supper at the Montgomery Central Middle School Saturday, February 25th. From 5:00pm until 7:00pm, volunteers served chili, cornbread and dessert to over 300 people.

Clarksville, TN – The movies for the 2012 season of Movies in the Park have been selected with the first showing, “Hugo”, winner of 5 Oscars, announced via Facebook.
Clarksville Parks & Recreation is encouraging all the movie-goers out there to visit the “Clarksville Movies in the Park” Facebook page every day to guess the titles for this year’s showings. Hints and clues will be provided and the first one to guess correctly receives a free treat!
Fort Campbell Riding Stables “Turn & Burn” Speed Show Trophy Series
Fort Campbell, KY – The Fort Campbell Riding Stables will be holding a “Turn & Burn” Speed Show Trophy Series beginning on March 23rd. There will be eleven show date opportunities between March 23rd and October 26th. Registration will begin at 5:00pm and the show will start at 6:00pm.
If you would like to participate, there is a $25.00 blanket fee or $5.00 per class, $5.00 office fee, and $5.00 high point nomination fee. It’s free to the public to come and watch. [Read more]
Customs House Museum Celebrates Women’s History Month
Clarksville, TN – The two-story gallery of the Customs House Museum will be filled with “The Words of Women” next month instead of the usual visual art.
“Each year I create an exhibit celebrating Women’s History Month. This time we are focusing on women writers”, says Terri Jordan, Exhibits Curator. This exhibit will be held March 2nd – May 6th. Participating writers were sent a vintage item to be used as the muse for their work. [Read more]
Indoor Aquatic Center to host “Wettest Egg Hunts”
Clarksville, TN – New this year, the Indoor Aquatic Center, located at 166 Cunningham Lane, has partnered with Sango Pool & Spa and the YMCA to host two not-so-typical egg hunts.
On Saturday, March 31st, thousands of colored eggs will be floating or sunk in the center’s pools, each good for candy and prizes. A hunt will be offered for children ages 1 to 12 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. An adaptive egg hunt will follow, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, for individuals ages 1 to 18 who have a disability. [Read more]
Fort Campbell Riding Stables “Post & Coast” Open Show Trophy Series
Fort Campbell, KY – The Fort Campbell Riding Stables will be holding a “Post & Coast” Open Show Trophy Series beginning on March 24th. There will be eleven show date opportunities between March 24th and October 27th.
