Rivers and Spires Festival Clarksville, TN – The Rivers and Spires Festival Poster Contest will be accepting submissions until October 25th, 2010 for the 2011 festival poster. The winner will receive a great deal of exposure throughout the event, as well as a $500.00 cash prize.

Aspects of the artwork will also be used on festival merchandise including the official Rivers and Spires t-shirt and program.

“Over the next week, I want to encourage everyone to apply no matter whether art is your profession or hobby. We are looking forward to seeing the talent and all the entries that are submitted for the contest,” said Doug Barber, Festival Director.

The final selection will be a standout piece that captures the spirit of the Rivers and Spires Festival and its impact on the arts and the community.

The winning design will be chosen by a panel of professional artists and festival leaders. The 2010 winner, Brandt Hardin, was selected because of his inclusion of so many key pieces of the festival. You can go online and read more about last year’s winner at www.riversandspires.com.

Rivers and Spires Festival Poster Contest Along with the $500.00 prize, the winning artist will be recognized throughout the festival weekend (April 14th-16th, 2011) and receive a complimentary 10-foot-by-10-foot booth during the festival. All artwork must be your original creation and you are welcome to enter as many pieces as you would like.
