The City of Clarksville lit up the Cumberland River Saturday night

The City of Clarksville held their annual Independence Day Celebration yesterday. The festivities kicked off with the presentation of the colors by the Clarksville Police Department Colorguard. Tina Brown kicked off the entertainment followed by McAllister’s Crossroads both are local favorites. Born in Tulsa Oklahoma Diffie is well known for his ballads and fun novelty songs like Third Rock from the Sun. He first topped the charts in 1990 with Home, since then Joe has remained on a steady course, staying true to his roots and delivering hit after hit totaling twelve #1’s, twenty top 10’s and four gold and platinum albums.
