Clarksville Parks and Recreation announces Movies in the Park to be held twice in September

Clarksville Parks and Recreation DepartmentClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department will host two Movies in the Park presented by Kyrstin Frate with Keller Williams during September. The two events are part of the two-week Riverfest festivities scheduled for September 1st-12th, 2020.

Dreamworks’ “Trolls World Tour” will be shown on Saturday, September 5th and Disney Pixar’s “Onward” on Friday, September 11th. Both events will be held at the Liberty Park Athletic Field, and activities will begin at 5:00pm, followed by the movie at sunset, which is around 7:00pm.

Movies in the Park to return June 13th

Clarksville Parks and Recreation DepartmentClarksville, TN – Are you missing the movie theater? Looking for a safe way to get out of the house for some quality family time? The Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department is excited to announce the return of Movies in the Park presented by Kyrstin Frate with Keller Williams.

The first event will be the movie Black Panther on Saturday, June 13th, 2020 at the Liberty Park Athletic Field, near the playground. The movie will begin at sunset, which is around 8:00pm.

Clarksville Association of Realtors Trains New Real Estate Professionals

Clarksville Association of REALTORSClarksville, TN – Three new Realtors, Melissa Gindhart, Michell Lochner, Ross Morford, recently began real estate careers in the Clarksville area. All three were students of the Clarksville Area Real Estate School (CARES), which is the Clarksville Association of Realtors’® pre-licensing school for potential real estate licensees.

CARES was developed by the Clarksville Association of Realtors® to provide an essential foundation of real estate education for people seeking to obtain a real estate license, and for those who wish to expand their knowledge of the general real estate profession. Over 100 students have taken the courses in a little over a year since its inception.

City votes on Clarksville’s Best for the March of Dimes

Best of Clarksville PosterClarksville, Tenn -The Best of Clarksville fundraiser for the March of Dimes is eagerly awaited each year by both businesses and area residents. The fundraiser this year featured 140 businesses in 65 categories; each one looking to score the votes of area residents to be declared The Best of Clarksville. The event consists of local vendor booths, silent auctions, dance performances, free give-a-ways, and a fireworks show by Allen’s Fireworks. All of the money raised is donated to the March of Dimes.

Matthews Nissan Suzuki was the presenting sponsor. Other sponsors included Five Star Radio, Sango Village Florist, US Bank, Cumberland Bank and Trust, FedEx, Allen’s Fireworks, Ad One Advertising, WJZM 1400 AM, and The Leaf-Chronicle.
