Clarksville, TN – When Bridget Cloud first offered free junior computer coding classes at Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library, she had one class and a few young students. But the number of students – and of classes – grew quickly.
“The interest for the little kids, it just kept going and going and going,” she said.

Clarksville, TN – Students from Austin Peay State University’s Department of Computer Science and Information Technology have been active in recent weeks, competing in regional coding challenges, as well as presenting findings at a major academic conference.
Two teams of Austin Peay students recently made a strong showing at the Association for Computer Machinery-International Collegiate Programming Contest (ACM-ICPC) 2017 Mid-Central USA Regional Contest, held Saturday, November 4th, 2017 at the University of Tennessee at Martin.
Enrollment is open for Austin Peay State University’s EDGE Summer Video Game Development Camp

Clarksville, TN – This summer, area high school students can learn the skills needed to create their own video game as Austin Peay State University’s Department of Computer Science and Information Technology presents EDGE, the Educating Developing Games Experience summer camp.
The EDGE camp will be offered in two sessions, with the first session lasting from July 10th-14th and the second session taking place July 24th-28th. Each session lasts from 9:30am-3:30pm and all sessions take place at the Maynard Mathematics and Computer Science Building on the University campus.
