Humane Society of Clarksville-Montgomery County to hold Drive-Thru Rabies Clinic

Clarksville, TN – The Humane Society of Clarksville-Montgomery County will offer a discounted rabies vaccine drive-thru clinic this weekend only as part of the Montgomery County Veterinary Medical Association’s March-designated Pet Health Month.
The drive-thru clinic will run from 3:00pm-5:00pm on Saturday, March 17th and Sunday, March 18th at its 940 Tennessee Avenue location behind Arby’s on Riverside Drive.

Humane Society of Clarksville-Montgomery County Welcomes New Clients to Apply for Pet Food Program

Clarksville, TN – This Monday, January 8th, 2018, the Humane Society of Clarksville-Montgomery County will open its doors from 2:00pm-5:00pm to accept applications from low income pet owners in need of assistance with dog or cat food.
This time slot is reserved for households that have never received food bank assistance from the Humane Society in the past.
This young lady collected pet food donations for the Humane Society in lieu of gifts for her birthday, which is a great way to support the pet food bank. The pet food bank serves low income families, Humane Society foster families, and local rescue organizations when overstock permits. (Humane Society of Clarksville-Montgomery County)

First Annual Wags & Wings Family Fun Fest has huge turnout

Clarksville, TN – Wags & Wings Family Fun Fest combined pet-friendly activities with aviation exhibits for a one-of-a-kind festival experience that attracted more than 2,200 people to Clarksville Regional Airport, October 14th, 2017.
Presented by the Airport, the Humane Society of Clarksville-Montgomery County and title sponsor Fortera Credit Union, organizers called the multi-faceted first year event a high-flying success.
Attendees at the Wags & Wings Family Fun Fest enjoy helicopter rides, October 14th. Airplane and helicopter rides were part of the inaugural event at Clarksville Regional Airport, which raised awareness for the Humane Society of Clarksville-Montgomery County and its mission. (Josh Vaughn)

Clarksville, TN – On Sunday, October 16th, 2016 between the hours of 1:00pm and 4:30pm, the Humane Society of Clarksville-Montgomery County will hold Clarksville’s 4th Annual Pit Bull Awareness Day in the parking lot of The Pet Food Center located at 2243 Lowes Drive, Clarksville, TN.
This event is held to bring awareness about the misconception of Bully Breeds.

The Humane Society of Clarksville-Montgomery County is offering free spay/neuter surgeries for any pit bull (or obvious mix) adopted from Montgomery County Animal Care and Control during the month of February. Clarksville, TN – The First Presbyterian Church in downtown Clarksville will be hosting a SPAY-ghetti dinner on Friday, August 21st benefiting the Humane Society of Clarksville-Montgomery County.
Dinner will start being served at 5:00pm, and will continue to accept guests until 7:00pm. The meal includes spaghetti, salad, bread, drink and dessert provided by George the Cake Guy!
