Clarksville, TN — The Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, Antioch United Methodist Church, Marion United Methodist Church and Salem United Methodist Church along with the Lone Oak Baptist Church and Memorial Baptist Church will host the sixth annual I Scream for FUEL, Ice Cream Freeze-Off.
The event is to raise much needed funds to support the FUEL program that provides non-perishable, easy to prepare food items for young children in the Montgomery County Schools.
108th annual Lone Oak Picnic Simply Wonderful

Cunningham, TN – On Saturday, July 30th, 2016 the Central Civitan Club hosted the 108th annual Lone Oak Picnic at the Central Civitan Building. The event began at 10:00am and went on until around 3:00pm.
There was plenty of good conversations, entertainment and great food to go around. Those running for office were allowed to address those in attendance starting at 11:00am.
“We had a pretty good crowd this year. Appreciate everyone being here. If you weren’t able to be here, I’m sorry you missed it. Maybe you can be here next year,” said Larry Pitts with Central Civitan.
City of Clarksville celebrates Independence Day with a Blast

Clarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville held the ninth annual Independence Day Celebration on Sunday, July 3rd, 2016 at Liberty Park and what a celebration it was. Featured were great music, good food, games. Just about something for everyone.
The “Ten Strings and Tom” trio kicked things off around 6:00pm. This band is named for the instruments in their band–six string guitar, four string bass, and a tom or one drum of a drum set. They performed songs by Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix and others.

Clarksville, TN – Written by Ken Davenport, “The Awesome 80’s Prom” at the Roxy Regional Theatre featured a cast that sparkled through the music of the era with not only audience participation throughout but sizzling singing and dancing.
Joe Filippo as Mr. Richard “Dick” Snelgrove, the principal, attempted to keep the boisterous cast in line as Stephanie Stafford as Mrs. Patty Lascalzo (or Mrs. L, the drama teacher) announced irrelevant interruptions such as the Alabama car parked in the wrong spot.

Clarksville Parks and Recreation and TWRA’s Youth Fishing Rodeo set for Saturday, June 11th

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Parks and Recreation and the Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency (TWRA) will be hold the annual Youth Fishing Rodeo this Saturday, June 11th, 2016.
The fishing rodeo will be held at the Liberty Park pond from 7:00am to 9:00am. Hot Dogs and Drinks will be available.
Participants can pick up a form to pre-register at Wal-Mart or Grand Pa’s Outdoors prior to the event.
Clarksville Association of REALTORS hosted 8th Annual F.U.E.L Block Party and Fundraiser

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Association of REALTORS hosted the 8th Annual F.U.E.L Block Party and Fundraiser. It was a community event coordinated by the Charity Relations Committee with the assistance of the Realtor and Affiliate Partner members of the Clarksville Association of REALTORS.
The Block Party was complete with silent auction, inflatables, live entertainment, games, vendors, and much more. Fresh from the grill hamburger and hot dog lunches were served with all proceeds going to the program.
