Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department introduces new programming for Toddlers

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Parks & Recreation Department is introducing two new programs for toddlers and young children. Kindermusik ABC Music & Me and Kindermusik Family Time will both begin the full sessions on March 5th, but the Crow Community Center, located at 211 Richview Road, will be offering free demo classes on Monday, February 27th and Wednesday, February 29th.
These demo classes allow those interested a free trial of each class.
An Introducton to Special Forces Class

Fort Campbell, KY – On Monday April 4th, 2011 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm there will be an introduction to Special Forces class at the Family Resource Center (inside Gate 1). Learn about the history and capabilities of Special Forces, how to separate fact from fiction, plus a spouse panel!
This class is free and open to all Soldiers, spouses, other family members, civilians, friends and anyone else who is interested in learning about Special Forces.
Free child care is available. Call or e-mail Mary Ann Mitchell( mary.ann.mitchell@us.army.mil ) by March 28th, 2011 to reserve a spot for your kids. The number is 931-233-1049. RSVP is not required for the class but would be greatly appreciated.
Healthy Steps to Freedom is Now Offered at the Clarksville Area YMCA

Restore Ministries of the YMCA is pleased to announce that Healthy Steps to Freedom will now be offered to the Clarksville community. It will meet Tuesdays from 11:30am – 1:30pm at the Clarksville Area YMCA, 260 Hillcrest Drive, starting August 24th.
Healthy Steps to Freedom is designed to help women release the intense burden of being controlled by food and physical appearance. It helps those in the class learn how to deal with life-controlling food issues, no matter what they are — weight loss, eating disorders, food addictions, or body image issues. Healthy Steps to Freedom combines 1 ½ hour of group time with 30 minutes of exercise led by a wellness coach. Healthy Steps group time takes class members to the core of the body image issue and focuses on lasting change, not just another resolution. [Read more]
