Tyler has played golf at CA for the past 4 years.<\/p>\n<p>Head of Schools Kay Drew, \u201cThere is never a moment I am more proud of my students then when they accomplish their goals. Tyler\u2019s 9 hole season average was a 35.7. He has competed in many tournaments outside of CA golf and had many wins. His most notable win was the Junior Club Championship at the Clarksville Country Club this fall.<\/p>\n<p>He also placed 2nd in the All American Junior Golf Tour Governors Invitational in Franklin. He tied for 4th in the United States Junior Golf Tour at Two Rivers Golf Course in Nashville and finished 5th in the Clarksville City Amateur as well as had a top ten finish in the Commanding Generals Tournament.<\/p>\n<p>Coach Jake Peterson is proud of Tyler\u2019s accomplishments, \u201cTyler has proven himself as a tough competitor in golf and will be a true asset to Trevecca\u2019s program.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Tyler is the son of Steve &amp; Sheri Phillips of Clarksville &amp; the grandson of Jim and Ann Phillips and Jimmy and Donna Young &amp; the great grandson of Myrtle Greene.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Clarksville, TN &#8211; Clarksville Academy, a Pre-K through 12th grade private college preparatory school, is pleased to announce the signing of Tyler Phillips to Trevecca University in Nashville, TN.
