Bake your favorite holiday treat and submit your entry to Ingredients, located at 100 Strawberry Alley by 5:00pm on December 4th.<\/p>\n<p>Entry fee is 5 samples for judging along with 2 dozen treats which will be donated to Manna Caf\u00e9. Entries will be judged according to taste, presentation, and originality.<\/p>\n<h3>Register now for the Jingle Bell Jog 5K<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" title=\"Jingle Bell Jog\" src=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/Jingle_Bell_Jog.jpg\" alt=\"Jingle Bell Jog\" width=\"242\" height=\"98\" \/>As part of our Downtown for the Holidays Celebration, December 3rd, the City of Clarksville and Run for a Reason has partnered to host the Jingle Bell Jog 5K with all proceeds benefitting Manna Caf\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>The race will begin with a one mile fun run at 8:00am, followed by the 5K. You can register now at <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.active.com\" >www.active.com<\/a>. Deadline to register is December 1st.<\/p>\n<h3>Downtown Decorating Contest<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-95644\" title=\"Downtown for the Holidays\" src=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/Downtown-for-the-Holidays.gif\" alt=\"Downtown for the Holidays\" width=\"225\" height=\"128\" \/>The contest, presented by the City of Clarksville and Montgomery County Government, is a continued tradition in the 5th Annual Downtown for the Holidays celebration. Downtown businesses from University Avenue to Riverside Drive show their holiday spirit while vying for the title of Best Window and Door Display, Most Creative Use of Lights or People\u2019s Choice.<\/p>\n<p>The People\u2019s Choice is a new addition this year. The community is invited to visit the Downtown for the Holidays Facebook page to view photos of the decorated store fronts and then \u201clike\u201d their favorite.<\/p>\n<p>Voting is open now through December 3rd. Winners will be announced during the parade.<\/p>\n<h3>Swimming Lessons at the Indoor Aquatic Center<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" title=\"Indoor Aquatic Center - New Providence\" src=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/Indooraquaticcenter-200x96.jpg\" alt=\"Indoor Aquatic Center - New Providence\" width=\"200\" height=\"96\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The second session of swimming lessons are set to begin December 5th at the newly opened Indoor Aquatic Center. Five comprehensive course levels are offered to teach you, your child or other family member how to swim skillfully and safely.<\/p>\n<p>Cost is $15.00 per session with a pool pass or $35.00 without.
