(Photo by Rian Barger\/APSU Public Relations and Marketing)<\/p><\/div>\n<p><!--more-->This year, the tradition continues with the 17th Annual Bread and Words reading on November 22nd in the APSU Morgan University Center Ballroom. The evening begins with a simple meal of soup and bread at 6:00pm, followed by a 7:00pm reading of poetry and fiction by local writers. A donation of $5.00 for the Salvation Army is requested at the door.<\/p>\n<p>Members and friends of the APSU Department of Languages and Literature interested in preparing pots of soup and loaves of bread may drop off those items shortly before 6:00pm on the evening of the benefit. Jane Burney from Lovin\u2019 Spoonful and Silke Tyler from Silke\u2019s German Bakery will donate food for the event.
