The youth league is open to ages 7 to 17 and costs $55.00 per player.<\/p>\n<p>Registration is going on now, and ends October 31st. New this year, registration can be completed online from the comfort of your home at recpro.cityofclarksville.com. Registration can also be done at the Kleeman, Crow and Burt Cobb Community Centers, as well as at the Parks &amp; Recreation Main Office. New registrants must bring their birth certificate for age verification.<\/p>\n<h3>Kleeman Haunted Mansion<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" title=\"Kleeman Haunted Mansion\" src=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/Moon-and-Bats.jpg\" alt=\"Kleeman Haunted Mansion\" width=\"160\" height=\"88\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Come for a night of fun and frights at the Kleeman Community Center located at 166 Cunningham Lane. The haunting will take place October 28th &amp; 29th from 7:00pm to 10:00pm.<\/p>\n<p>Cost is $2.00 for adults (Ages 18 and up) and $1.00 for children (Ages 6-17).<\/p>\n<h3>Fright on Franklin<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" title=\"Fright on Franklin\" src=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/2011FOF-Poster-2011-140x200.png\" alt=\"Fright on Franklin\" width=\"140\" height=\"200\" \/>The 3rd Annual Fright on Franklin, presented by City of Clarksville and Planter\u2019s Bank, will once again offer safe trick-or-treating. Local businesses will line the streets in Downtown Clarksville on Saturday, October 29th to pass out candy.<\/p>\n<p>Fright on Franklin activities will begin at 4:00pm. with the Costume Contest kicking off at 5:00pm. Contest participants must register by 4:30pm, October 28th at the Parks and Recreation office or online at recpro.cityofclarksville.com. The contest is free to enter and open to ages 0 to 17 Prizes will be awarded. Register early, only the first 40 registrants will be accepted for each age group.<\/p>\n<h3>Save the Smith-Trahern Mansion<\/h3>\n<div id=\"attachment_91194\" style=\"width: 210px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/smithtrahern.jpg\"  class=\"thickbox no_icon\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-91194\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-91194 \" title=\"The Smith Trahern Mansion\" src=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/smithtrahern-200x133.jpg\" alt=\"The Smith Trahern Mansion\" width=\"200\" height=\"133\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-91194\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The Smith Trahern Mansion<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Help the City of Clarksville preserve one of the oldest and most beloved historic homes in the downtown area. Your purchase of a watercolor print of the Mansion by Lynne Waters Griffey or generous donation could make a real difference in saving this treasure from further deterioration.<\/p>\n<p>Prices are as follows: 11\u201d x 14\u201d unframed print &#8211; $50.00, 9\u201d x 12\u201d unframed print &#8211; $30.00, note cards with envelopes \u2013 special order. Prints are available for sale at Fort Defiance Interpretive Center and the Clarksville Parks and Recreation Office.<\/p>\n<h3>Winter Gym Program<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" title=\"Basketball\" src=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/basketball-200x200.gif\" alt=\"Basketball\" width=\"144\" height=\"144\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Every year, the Parks &amp; Recreation Department and the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System partner to provide a free winter gymnasium program for recreational basketball free play.<\/p>\n<p>The program is offered Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays at Byrns-Darden Elementary School Gymnasium from 6:00pm\u20139:00pm from November 7th, 2011 through March 30th, 2012.
