This year\u2019s theme is \u201cRock Your Park!\u201d The National Recreation and Parks Association\u2019s new initiative called America\u2019s Backyard and Clarksville Parks &amp; Recreation encourage you to show the country how parks and recreation departments make your life extraordinary!<!--more--><\/p>\n<h3>Below are just some of the ways that you can get involved:<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Recreate<\/strong> \u2013 The City of Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department enriches the quality of life for the people of Clarksville by providing enjoyable recreational opportunities in innovative park environments. Sign up for one of the many recreational opportunities we have going on in July! Visit <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.cityofclarksville.com\/\" >www.cityofclarksville.com<\/a> to print out a coupon for $5.00 off a multi-class session.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rock Your Park Photo Contest<\/strong> \u2013 Print out or pick up the Rock Your Park Poster, then take a photo using it to show how YOU rock your park! The winner will receive a free Pavilion Rental (up to 4 hours) in one of our City Parks! The contest is going on through July 31st. The winner will be announced on August 5th.
