All children ages 6-12 are welcome to attend Explorer sites for FREE.<\/p>\n<p>New this year will be a teens-only site at New Providence Middle School for ages 13-16 called the Rec-ing Crew. Permission from a parent is required for participation. For program locations, please visit our website, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cityofclarksville.com\/parks&amp;rec\"  target=\"_blank\">www.cityofclarksville.com\/parks&amp;rec<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Youth Fishing rodeo<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-46127\" title=\"Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency - TWRA\" src=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/tennessee-wildlife-resources-agency.gif\" alt=\"Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency - TWRA\" width=\"140\" height=\"137\" \/>Annual TWRA, Clarksville Parks and Recreation Youth Fishing Rodeo<\/p>\n<p>On the second Saturday in June each year, the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency allows all residents and non-residents to fish without a license. Children ages 16 and under are urged to bring their fishing poles and bait to the pond at Liberty Park for free fishing from 8:00am to 10:30am, June 11th. Registration will begin at 7:00am. The other portions of Liberty Park will remain closed, except for the boat ramp and boat docks that are now open from 7:00am to 8:00pm each Saturday and Sunday.<\/p>\n<h3>Downtown Market<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-20963\" title=\"Clarksville Downtown Market\" src=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/06\/downtownmarket-logo.jpg\" alt=\"Clarksville Downtown Market\" width=\"100\" height=\"161\" \/>Come down to Public Square from 8:00am to 1:00pm this Saturday for the Clarksville Downtown Market. The market will feature fresh, locally grown produce, nursery stock, handmade craft items and other seasonal commodities. You can also find baked goods, home d\u00e9cor, seasonal flowers and more!<\/p>\n<p>After visiting, be sure to go to <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.farmland.org\/vote\" >www.farmland.org\/vote<\/a> to cast your vote to select Clarksville\u2019s Downtown Market as \u201cAmerica\u2019s Favorite Farmers Markets\u201d.<\/p>\n<h3>Pools Rentals<\/h3>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/08\/boy-on-slide.jpg\"  class=\"thickbox no_icon\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-6984\" title=\"The Swan Lake Pool Slide\" src=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/08\/boy-on-slide-155x200.jpg\" alt=\"The Swan Lake Pool Slide\" width=\"140\" height=\"180\" \/><\/a>Pools are now open and are available from 6:00pm to 8:30pm. Friday through Sunday for private rentals. A $200.00 deposit is required for each rental.<\/p>\n<p>Rates are: Smith &#8212; $150.00, Beachaven and New Providence &#8212; $200.00, Swan Lake and Bel Aire &#8212; $300.00. The rates are subject to change for parties of 50 people or more.<\/p>\n<p>Reservation requests can be made online at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cityofclarksville.com\/parks&amp;rec\/res.php\"  target=\"_blank\">www.cityofclarksville.com\/parks&amp;rec\/res.php<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Jammin\u2019 in the Alley returns June 17th<\/h3>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/Jammin-in-the-Alley-2011.jpg\"  class=\"thickbox no_icon\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-75126\" title=\"Jammin in the Alley 2011\" src=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/Jammin-in-the-Alley-2011-189x200.jpg\" alt=\"Jammin in the Alley 2011\" width=\"151\" height=\"160\" \/><\/a>The City of Clarksville, together with U.S. Bank, will soon be Jammin\u2019 in Strawberry Alley again. This event is part of our new summer series just for teens! Each month from June through August, an event will be held at different location for teens to enjoy music, games and more in a safe environment.
