The CD was published by Naxos, one of the leading classical music labels, and is distributed internationally.<\/p>\n<p>Titled \u201cLincoln Portraits,\u201d this CD\u2014Mabry\u2019s eighth thus far\u2014has been issued by the Nashville Symphony Orchestra in celebration of the 200th birthday of Abraham Lincoln.<\/p>\n<p>The CD includes orchestral works by Charles Ives, Ernst Bacon, Elliot Gould, George McKay, Vincent Persichetti, Paul Turok and Roy Harris. Mabry\u2019s CDs can be found on the Owl and Capstone labels.<\/p>\n<p>To celebrate the bicentennial of Lincoln\u2019s birth, the Nashville Symphony, Leonard Slatkin and Naxos have selected eight important works by leading American composers.
