Festival-goers can visit vendors, watch demonstrations, and even participated in classes and clinics, all at no cost.<\/p>\n<h3>Nominate a Coach Today!<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-64541\" title=\"Clarksville Sports Festival Legends Awards\" src=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/2011-Legend-Awards-200x127.jpg\" alt=\"Clarksville Sports Festival Legends Awards\" width=\"200\" height=\"127\" \/>Nominations are now being accepted for the first-ever Clarksville Sports Festival Legends Awards. The City of Clarksville Parks &amp; Recreation Department and Legends Bank have partnered in an effort to honor both current and past coaches who are or have made a unique difference and solid contribution to sports and athletics in the Clarksville-Montgomery County area.<\/p>\n<p>Nomination forms are available to pick up at the Parks &amp; Recreation Main Office, downloaded or completed online at <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.cityofclarksville.com\/parks&amp;rec\/events.php\" >www.cityofclarksville.com\/parks&amp;rec\/events.php<\/a>. The deadline has been extended, all nomination forms must be received by 4:30pm on March 7th.<\/p>\n<h3>Seeking Vendors and Volunteers<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-65847\" title=\"Clarksville Sports Festival\" src=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/Clarksville-Sports-Festival.jpg\" alt=\"Clarksville Sports Festival\" width=\"200\" height=\"101\" \/>Clarksville Sports Festival is looking for businesses or organizations to participate as a vendor in one of the athletic zones at the event. This is a great opportunity to showcase your products and\/or services to sports enthusiasts, coaches and parents. Register today by picking up a form at Parks &amp; Recreation Department located at 102 Public Square or online at <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.cityofclarksville.com\/parks&amp;rec\/athletics.php\" >www.cityofclarksville.com\/parks&amp;rec\/athletics.php<\/a>. All forms must be returned no later than March 4th.<\/p>\n<p>Volunteers are also needed to ensure a successful festival. We would love for you or your organization to help! Call 931-645-7476 to sign up today.<\/p>\n<h3>Kickball Registration Extended<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-65849\" title=\"Kickball\" src=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/kickball.gif\" alt=\"Kickball\" width=\"120\" height=\"95\" \/>The registration deadline for the Adult Spring Kickball league has been extended. Sign up now at the Parks &amp; Recreation Main office, located at 102 Public Square.<\/p>\n<p>Cost is $300.00 per team and must be paid in full by March 11th.<\/p>\n<h3>Blastball Meeting Scheduled<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-65852\" title=\"Blastball\" src=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/Blastball.jpg\" alt=\"Blastball\" width=\"150\" height=\"120\" \/>New this year for the 3 to 4 year olds, we are offering \u201cBlastball\u201d. This fun alternative to traditional T-ball uses a \u201chonking\u201d base to entertain younger players; adding excitement to the game. It concentrates on developing a child\u2019s running, hitting, catching, fielding and throwing skills. To learn more about \u201cBlastball\u201d, Parks &amp; Recreation will be conducting a meeting March 1st for parents and coaches. The meeting will begin at 6:00pm at the Burt Cobb Community Center, located at 1011 Franklin Street.<\/p>\n<h3>Archery is back!<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-37171\" title=\"Archery\" src=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/archery-left.gif\" alt=\"Archery\" width=\"147\" height=\"116\" \/>Kleeman Community Center will begin offering two archery classes for youth grades 4-12. A beginner class will be held from 4:00pm to 5:00pm and an advanced class will be held from 5:00pm to 6:00pm on Monday nights.<\/p>\n<p>The four-week session will begin March 7th. Cost is $10.00 per student.<\/p>\n<h3>Get Outdoors<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-47093\" title=\"Clarksville Greenway\" src=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/greenwayLogo.png\" alt=\"Clarksville Greenway\" width=\"137\" height=\"148\" \/>Join us at the Clarksville Greenway, located at the end of Pollard Road, from 8:00am to 9:00am Saturday, March 19th, for a guided nature hike. L.
