Tenn-Share is a nonprofit organization that promotes resource sharing among libraries and other information agencies throughout Tennessee.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_54190\" style=\"width: 490px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/TEL-Trainer-of-the-Year-005.jpg\"  class=\"thickbox no_icon\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-54190\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-54190\" title=\"TEL Trainer Award\" src=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/TEL-Trainer-of-the-Year-005-480x319.jpg\" alt=\"TEL Trainer Award\" width=\"480\" height=\"319\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-54190\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">TEL Trainer Award<\/p><\/div>\n<p><!--more-->TEL trainers are a dedicated group of volunteers who provide training across the state. Each year, the TEL Trainer Award is presented to the individual or group that logs the most miles or the most hours providing training about how to use TEL. This year, the team from Austin Peay was first in both categories.<\/p>\n<p>The team was initially expected only to provide training for those who needed it in and around Clarksville. However, the team decided to expand its mission and serve a larger geographic area.<\/p>\n<p>TEL is an online collection of more than 40 databases containing more than 400,000 magazines, books, journals, newspaper articles, essays, podcasts, videos, e-books and primary source materials. TEL provides information to Tennesseans free of charge via the Internet at: <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/tntel.tnsos.org\/\" >http:\/\/tntel.tnsos.org<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Tennessee Electronic Library is one of our state\u2019s best-kept secrets,\u201d Secretary of State Tre Hargett said. \u201cI hope to change that because TEL is really an amazing online resource for students, teachers or anyone who is trying to do research work.
