\"ClarksvilleClarksville, TN<\/strong> – Clarksville will host 97 young women competing in the upcoming 2011 Miss Tennessee USA and Teen USA pageants.<\/p>\n

Both events will take place at the Austin Peay State University Music and Mass Communications Building on October 15th and 16th, 2010. This will be Clarksville\u2019s eleventh year hosting the pageants.<\/p>\n

Theresa Harrington, Director of the Convention and Visitors Bureau said, \u201cWe are looking forward to hosting the pageants and welcoming the delegates, their families and supporters to Clarksville-Montgomery County. There are delegates competing from all over the state of Tennessee and we are happy to have them here to experience our community.\u201d<\/p>\n

Miss Tennessee USA and Miss Tennessee Teen USA pageant <\/p><\/div>\n

Both pageants have contestants from varied locations throughout the state; representing over 25 different cities. Clarksville will have five delegates representing the city-county, with one in the Miss pageant and four in the Teen pageant.<\/p>\n

Tucker Perry, Miss Tennessee USA 2010, will crown the newest title holder on Saturday night. Perry is a resident of Nashville.<\/p>\n

Kristen Rose, who was crowned Miss Tennessee Teen USA 2010, will also be handing over her crown at Saturday afternoon\u2019s final teen pageant. Rose is a native of Bristol.<\/p>\n

Miss Tennessee USA 2010 Tucker Perry<\/p><\/div>\n

The preliminary competition for Miss Tennessee USA will be on Friday, October 15th at 6:30pm. The Miss Tennessee Teen USA preliminary will be the same day at 8:30pm. The finals will be on Saturday, October 16th with Miss Tennessee Teen USA at 3:30pm and Miss Tennessee USA at 8:00pm.<\/p>\n

Tickets for the preliminary competitions are $31.50 and tickets for the final competitions are $36.50 and may be purchased by credit card by calling 931-245-4346 or in person by cash or credit card at the Economic Development Council Office, 25 Jefferson Street. Tickets will be available for pre-purchase until Tuesday afternoon, October 12th and then at the door until they sell out.<\/p>\n

The Miss Tennessee USA and Teen USA pageants are directed by Kim Greenwood, Miss Tennessee USA 1989 and the wife of entertainer and Grammy award winner, Lee Greenwood.<\/p>\n
