\u201cOperation Celebrate Children\u201d to Feature National Anthem by Award-winning Artist Trace Adkins<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Nashville, TN<\/strong> \u2013 Families of Fort Campbell soldiers on active duty will be treated on Saturday, October 2nd, to a private, free performance of Disney On Ice<\/em> presents Disney\/Pixar\u2019s Toy Story 3<\/em> at Nashville\u2019s Bridgestone Arena.<\/p>\n

Fort Campbell families, who have recently seen their service members deployed for the third and fourth times, will also be treated to a national anthem performance by multiplatinum, award-winning country music star Trace Adkins.<\/p>\n

Nashville Mayor Karl Dean will welcome attendees and will be presented a 101st<\/sup> Airborne Division flag by Ann Campbell, wife of Major General John F. Campbell, the commanding general of the Combined Joint Task Force 101, and Sylvia Phipps, wife of Brigadier General Warren Phipps, the Deputy Commander of Support, during a special opening ceremony.<\/p>\n

Feld Entertainment, producer of Disney On Ice<\/em>, partnered with MetLife, Cracker Barrel Old Country Store\u00ae and Clarksville businessman Jack Turner to make this special performance a reality.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe currently have a large number of Fort Campbell troops in Afghanistan, Iraq and numerous other locations around the world,\u201d said Colonel Dominic Caraccilo, Deputy Commander, 101st Airborne Division and Senior Commander, Fort Campbell, KY. \u201cGenerosity shown to our military families is truly special. It\u2019s hard to find words that show an adequate appreciation.\u201d<\/p>\n

As part of the free performance, approximately 172 Gold Star Family members will be honored guests at a post-show reception hosted by Little Caesars of Hopkinsville and Anna Caryl Guffey with some of the stars from the show. These families have lost a loved one in support of combat operations around the world.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur military families sacrifice so much for our country, and it is important for the Middle Tennessee and Western Kentucky communities to show our appreciation of Fort Campbell families,\u201d said Jack Turner, who, along with Anna Caryl Guffey, coordinated the event. \u201cIt\u2019s tough on these families at home whose soldier is serving our country for all of us.
