\"Humane<\/a>The Humane Society of Clarksville \u2013 Montgomery County (HSCMC) would like to take this opportunity to express our deepest gratitude to the Pi Kappa Alpha Eta Tau Alumni Association for their generous donation of $5,500.<\/p>\n

The Pi Kappa Alpha Eta Tau Alumni Association, spearheaded by Scott Beasley, worked tirelessly to organize and present \u201cThe Waggle\u201d, a two-man golf tournament which was held on July 17th, 2010 to benefit the HSCMC.<\/p>\n

Numerous local businesses supported \u201cThe Waggle\u201d with monetary hole sponsorships as well as with prizes to be given away to the participants of the tournament. Nearly 50 two-man teams played a fun-filled round of golf at the Swan Lake Golf Course, and no one left empty handed.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Waggle\u201d was filled with fun gimmicks that enhanced play for the participants, such as special string to lengthen putts and several hole-in-one contests. The Pi Kappa Alpha Eta Tau Alumni Association wrangled this event as if they were old pros at this sort of thing, and many golfers were heard to be eagerly anticipating next year\u2019s event. The HSCMC hopes this partnership will continue in the future.<\/p>\n

It is community support like this that allows the HSCMC to continue to provide programs and services within the local community, as well as to provide education and outreach on the proper care and treatment of our companion animals.<\/p>\n
