The grand opening celebration included free food samples, door prizes, and the official introduction of the company&#8217;s new honey fire sauce.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Standard\">Rosemary and Lewis Murphy are the franchise owners who made the Clarksville location possible.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Standard\">\u201cWe are the first in Tennessee,\u201d Rosemary said. \u201cWe have friends who opened franchises in New York a couple of years ago. (Tony Centonze, Clarksville Online)<\/p><\/div>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p class=\"Standard\">The Murphy&#8217;s are originally from a farming community in Maryland. \u201cWe both grew up having fried chicken that was raised on the farm on Saturdays,\u201d Rosemary said. \u201cThen, we&#8217;d get up on Sunday mornings and put that fried chicken on top of waffles, before church, with some maple syrup of course.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Standard\">\u201cWe moved here in 2017, and we love it here.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"Standard\">Lewis says the company is always introducing new products.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Standard\">\u201cWe have our new honey fire sauce for the month of May,\u201d Lewis said. \u201cWhich, I think, will become a staple. We have other sauces on the menu, but this has been so popular. Everybody loves it. Every month we do a new sauce or a new flavor of shake. Last month we debuted our new banana milkshake.
