This year\u2019s FREE festivities are set to kick off at 6:00pm. with the music of local favorites Tina Brown and McAlister\u2019s Crossroads followed by country music recording artist Joe Diffie. The conclusion of the evening\u2019s events will take place at 9:30pm as we honor our nation with Clarksville\u2019s largest fireworks display. This year\u2019s display will once again feature the exciting water pyrotechnics. The food, music and fun are sure to be a great time.<\/p>\n<h3>Downtown Market<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-20963\" title=\"downtownmarket-logo\" src=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/06\/downtownmarket-logo.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"80\" height=\"129\" \/>Come down to Public Square this Saturday from 8:00am to 1:00pm for the Clarksville Downtown Market. The market will feature fresh, locally grown produce, nursery stock, handmade craft items, and other seasonal commodities. You can also find baked goods, home d\u00e9cor, seasonal flowers and more! After visiting, be sure to go to <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.farmland.org\/vote\" >www.farmland.org\/vote<\/a> to cast your vote to select Clarksville\u2019s Downtown Market- \u201cAmerica\u2019s Favorite Farmers Markets\u201d.<\/p>\n<h3>Movies in the Park<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-21615\" title=\"Movies in the Park\" src=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/06\/IMG_3781-200x133.jpg\" alt=\"Movies in the Park\" width=\"160\" height=\"106\" \/>Join us for our next viewing of Movies in the Park, Saturday, July 10th at Heritage Park Soccer fields for the viewing of Star Trek (2009), rated PG-13. Come early to save your spot and enjoy pre-show activities beginning an hour before the movie which begins at dark. Admission to the movie is free.<\/p>\n<h3>Youth and Adult Leagues<\/h3>\n<p>Games for our youth leagues are just beginning while our adult league games are in full swing. Don\u2019t play, but love to watch? Come out to Heritage Park and enjoy a game or two!<\/p>\n<h3>Adult Fall Softball<\/h3>\n<p>Adult Fall Softball Registration begins soon- with an organizational meeting being held for coaches July 11th at Burt-Cobb Community Center at 2:00pm.<\/p>\n<h3>Fall Adult CoEd Kickball League<\/h3>\n<p>The goal of this recreational coed leagues is to have fun- for an hour, every week. Teams consist of 10 to 20 players. League play will begin August 16th and runs through early November at Heritage Park. All games will be played on Monday nights. An organizational meeting will be held for coaches July 11th at Burt-Cobb Community Center at 2:00pm.<\/p>\n<h3>Zumba is Back<\/h3>\n<p>Beginning July 14th, join us at the Crow Community Center twice a week for Zumba. This popular program combines music and dance in an effort to make exercise fun. The class is offered Wednesday\u2019s from 6:30pm to 7:30pm and Friday\u2019s from 5:00pm-6:00pm. The cost is $3.00 per class or $30.00 for the entire six-week session. A community center ID card is required- the cost is $5.00 for a yearly membership.<\/p>\n<h3>Party at the Pool<\/h3>\n<p>School is out, summer is here, so grab your friends and come \u201cParty at the Pool\u201d July 23rd from 6:00pm-9:00pm at Swan Lake Pool. This event is part of our new summer series just for teens! Each month from June through August, one monthly event is held at different locations for teens to enjoy music, games, food, and more- all in a safe environment. The events are free and open to teens ages 15 to 18. A picture ID is required.
