It\u2019s tacked onto the title because the holiday tradition began in 2009 at Austin Peay State University (APSU), but then the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic put a halt to last year\u2019s show.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.discoverclarksville.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Christmas-with-David-Steinquest-and-Friends-returns-to-APSU-December-3rd.jpg\"  class=\"thickbox no_icon\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-29966\" src=\"http:\/\/www.discoverclarksville.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Christmas-with-David-Steinquest-and-Friends-returns-to-APSU-December-3rd-480x384.jpg\" alt=\"Christmas with David Steinquest and Friends returns to Austin Peay State University on December 3rd. Tickets go on sale on November 15th.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI usually steal music from a lot of great people, so this year we\u2019ll have stuff by James Taylor, Family Force 5, Diana Krall, the Civil Wars, Amy Grant, and the Bare Naked Ladies,\u201d Steinquest said. \u201cWe also have a couple of new ones by Nichole Nordeman and a group called Brilliance. I\u2019m excited about this concert.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The evening will feature Steinquest\u2019s holiday band, made up of Allison Steinquest, vocals; Paul Carrol Binkley, guitar and vocals; Trey Andrews, vocals and guitar; Laura Epling, violin and vocals; Kevin Madill, piano; Tony Nagy, bass; Sam Campbell, drums; David Steinquest, percussion; and the APSU Percussion Ensemble.<\/p>\n<p>The concert includes Christmas standards like \u201cWe Need a Little Christmas,\u201d \u201cSanta Claus is Coming to Town,\u201d \u201cT\u2019was the Night Before Christmas,\u201d \u201cSilent Night,\u201d \u201cHark the Herald Angels Sing\u201d and \u201cGod Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>[470center]<\/p>\n<p>As always, the show will have a homey atmosphere with the stage set up like a living room, complete with Christmas decorations.<\/p>\n<p>Tickets are $5.00 or two cans of food (donated to Loaves &amp; Fishes).
