Activities will begin at 5:30pm, followed by the movie at sunset, which is around 7:30pm.<\/p>\n<p>The first 40 guests will receive a free Movies in the Park popcorn bucket and one free bucket of popcorn provided by Loaves &amp; Fishes TN. The branded bucket will allow guests to receive a $1.00 discount on popcorn at future Movies in the Park events this year.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/Movies-in-the-Park-to-show-Pokemon-Detective-Pikachu-this-Saturday.jpg\"  class=\"thickbox no_icon\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-497704\" title=\"Clarksville Parks and Recreation\u2019s Movies in the Park to show &quot;Pokemon: Detective Pikachu&quot; this Saturday at Liberty Park.\" src=\"https:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/Movies-in-the-Park-to-show-Pokemon-Detective-Pikachu-this-Saturday-480x270.jpg\" alt=\"Clarksville Parks and Recreation\u2019s Movies in the Park to show &quot;Pokemon: Detective Pikachu&quot; this Saturday at Liberty Park.\" width=\"480\" height=\"270\"\/><\/a><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Movies in the Park popcorn buckets and Twist and Chill fans will be available on a first-come basis. Food vendors Kadi\u2019s Tacos &amp; More and Kona Ice of Hopkinsville\/Clarksville will be on site.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the Clarksville-Montgomery County Green Certification Program, K-Love 97.1 FM, and other sponsors will be at the event for pre-show fun.<\/p>\n<p>Maggie Houts, Event Planning Specialist with Clarksville Parks &amp; Recreation, said Movies in the Park has been popular this summer.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMovies in the Park has been a wonderful and safe activity for the public during this time,\u201d Houts said. \u201cIt\u2019s been successful and we\u2019re glad everyone is enjoying the event each month.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>The following safety guidelines remain in place:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cloth face covers are encouraged and are required in communal areas.<\/li>\n<li>Large white squares will be painted on the grass at Liberty Park Athletic Field to ensure that social distancing is maintained. Each square will be painted approximately 6-feet apart from each other. These squares will serve as seating areas.<\/li>\n<li>A limited number of squares will be available, and squares will be assigned first-come, first served.<\/li>\n<li>Food will be available for purchase on-site.
