Hot dogs, chips, and a drink will be served to students and parents.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re excited to be hosting the Back to School Splash again this year,\u201d said Kimberly Gilbert, Aquatics Superintendent for Clarksville Parks and Recreation.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/Clarksville-Parks-and-Recreations-Back-to-School-Splash-set-for-August-1st.jpg\"  class=\"thickbox no_icon\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-495688\" title=\"Back to School Splash to take place Saturday, August 1st\" src=\"https:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/Clarksville-Parks-and-Recreations-Back-to-School-Splash-set-for-August-1st-480x240.jpg\" alt=\"Back to School Splash to take place Saturday, August 1st\" width=\"480\" height=\"240\"\/><\/a><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe know it\u2019ll be a different start to the school year, but we still want to make sure students have some end of the summer fun while getting prepared,\u201d Gilbert stated.<\/p>\n<p>The event will be at Bel-Aire and Swan Lake swimming pools on Saturday, August 1st. Backpacks will be offered for Elementary, Middle and High School levels.<\/p>\n<p>To observe social distancing guidelines, spaces will be marked on the pool deck for patrons, only registered school-age students may attend, and only one adult will be permitted per family.<\/p>\n<h3>Three time slots are available for registration:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>10:00am-12:00pm<\/li>\n<li>1:00pm-3:00pm<\/li>\n<li>4:00pm-6:00pm<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Participants should arrive at least 15 minutes before the event to check-in, receive their backpack, and eat. Registration is $6.00 per student and will close on July 27th.<\/p>\n<p>Patrons should feel safe attending the event.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will be following all the proper guidelines to keep everyone as safe as possible.
