The $10,000 scholarship will benefit her completion of a Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Criminal Justice through Rasmussen College Online. The Scholarship Selection Committee chose Gannon from nearly 1,300 applicants across all campuses, programs, and degrees.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are excited to welcome Donna Gannon as she transitions her passion for criminal justice into a career in law enforcement,\u201d Rasmussen College Online Campus President Don DeVito said. \u201cDonna has shown dedication to both the industry and excelling in her profession. I look forward to witnessing her growth as she develops the skills necessary to succeed in this fast growing industry.\u201d<!--more-->In March 2010, Rasmussen College announced that it would celebrate its 110-year anniversary by awarding 110 academic scholarships, valued up to $1 million, to qualified Rasmussen College students throughout the year. Scholarship applications were available to incoming students.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRasmussen established the 110th Anniversary Scholarship to celebrate our history of higher education and to support students who have demonstrated a commitment to obtaining their degrees,\u201d Rasmussen College President Kristi Waite said. \u201cThis scholarship is intended to help students reach their education goals and can be applied toward any education-related costs incurred at Rasmussen College.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Founded 1900 in Stillwater, MN, Rasmussen College serves more than 15,000 students nationwide through its network of campuses and online degree programs.
