(APSU)<\/p><\/div>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The partnership will increase the affordability and accessibility of law school for Middle Tennesseans, according to Katharine T. Schaffzin, dean of the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cStudents can earn a bachelor\u2019s degree from Austin Peay and a JD from the University of Memphis in six years, saving an entire year of undergraduate tuition and lost earning potential,\u201d Schaffzin said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMoreover, the three plus three program will increase the number of high-performing undergraduates from Middle Tennessee studying at Memphis Law, while improving Austin Peay\u2019s ability to retain and graduate these students,\u201d stated Schaffzin.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_475535\" style=\"width: 490px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/APSUs-Dr.-Harold-Young.jpg\"  class=\"thickbox no_icon\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-475535\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-475535\" title=\"Austin Peay State University assistant professor Dr. Harold Young. (APSU)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Students at Austin Peay State University will be advised to complete a degree requirement, prepped for the LSAT and complete the application process for the law school by the end of their junior year according to Harold A.
