\"AustinClarksville, TN<\/strong> – The Austin Peay State University (APSU) International Night presents everybody in the community an opportunity to explore different countries through cuisine, d\u00e9cor and demonstrations.<\/p>\n

And everything is free \u2013 even the food!<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s event is 6:00pm-7:30pm November 12th in the Memorial Health Building, aka the Red Barn, on APSU\u2019s campus. International Night is open to the public, and everyone can wear their cultural attire. The event \u2013 which coincides with International Education Week \u2013 usually draws more than 500 people. <\/p>\n

And this year, the Zuzu African Acrobats from America’s Got Talent will perform. Zuzu Acrobats are a five-person Kenyan Acrobatic show that embodies the Bantu Culture of East Africa.<\/p>\n

The show features fast pyramid building, limbo, chair balancing, comedy, fast skip rope and juggling to high-energy Lingala music. <\/p>\n

APSU Football to face rival Murray State on Saturday<\/h3>\n

The Governors continue their march to an OVC title by traveling to nearby Murray, Kentucky, to take on the rival Murray State Racers noon Saturday. <\/p>\n

[320left]The Governors win last Saturday over UT Martin helped Austin Peay gain control over its destiny. It the team beats Murray State and Eastern Illinois, the Governors win the OVC regular season title and an automatic bid to the Football Championship Series playoffs. <\/p>\n

The volleyball team also travels to Murray for a 6:00pm November 13th matchup. The Governors have clinched a berth in the OVC tournament.<\/p>\n

Collage artist Deborah Roberts to speak on campus <\/h3>\n

Deborah Robert\u2019s lecture will be at 6:00pm Tuesday, November 12th, in the Austin Peay State University Art + Design building\u2019s Room 120. (APSU)<\/p><\/div>\n

Nationally recognized collage artist Deborah Roberts will deliver a lecture \u2013 free and open to the public \u2013 at 6:00pm Tuesday, November 12th, at Austin Peay State University\u2019s Art + Design building, Room 120.<\/p>\n

Roberts is a mixed-media artist whose work challenges the notion of ideal beauty. Her work has been exhibited internationally across the United States and Europe.<\/p>\n

\u2018Do it\u2019 exhibit continues <\/h3>\n

The “do it” exhibit is at The New Gallery, located in the Austin Peay Art + Design building on the campus through December 6th. (APSU)<\/p><\/div>\n

Austin Peay State University\u2019s 10-week run of the international \u201cdo it\u201d exhibit continues at The New Gallery in the APSU Art + Design building on campus.<\/p>\n

[320right]The exhibit runs through December 6th.<\/p>\n

\u201cDo it\u201d is a 26-year global phenomenon that is a compendium of 400 written instructions by artists interpreted anew every time they are enacted. The New Gallery will have 22 sets of instructions by artists such as Felix Gonzalez-Torres, Adrian Piper, Yoko Ono, Alison Knowles, Sol LeWitt, David Lynch and Joan Jonas.<\/p>\n
