A project dedicated to the memory of the September 11th attacks on our nation that honors and remembers those who serve our country.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_432255\" style=\"width: 490px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/Pillars-of-Hope-travelling-public-art-exhibit.jpg\"  class=\"thickbox no_icon\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-432255\" class=\"wp-image-432255 size-medium\" title=\"Pillars of Hope traveling public art exhibit to be displayed at Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library honors our heroes and community.\" src=\"https:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/Pillars-of-Hope-travelling-public-art-exhibit-480x360.jpg\" alt=\"Pillars of Hope traveling public art exhibit to be displayed at Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library honors our heroes and community.\" width=\"480\" height=\"360\"\/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-432255\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Pillars of Hope traveling public art exhibit to be displayed at Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library honors our heroes and community.<\/p><\/div>\n<p><!--more--><br \/>\nThe Pillars of Hope was created in partnership with Volunteer Clarksville, Hands on Nashville, Ken Shipley, retired APSU Ceramics Professor; and with support from the Corporation for National and Community Service and the Clarksville Montgomery County Arts and Heritage Development Council.<\/p>\n<p>The memorial exhibit will be on display at the Clarksville Public Library, 350 Pageant Lane from September 4th-23rd, 2019 during regular business hours.<\/p>\n<p>It is important that with each passing year as the attacks of 9\/11 recede further into the past that we continue to inspire a tradition of paying tribute to the 9\/11 victims, survivors and those who rose up in service in response to the attacks.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Pillars of Hope offers our community a unique and special way to do that. We hope that visitors will find comfort and hope in each commemorative tile that is placed on the pillars. Each one represents a citizen paying tribute to those who serve\u201d Rita Arancibia, Arts for Hearts Founder, said.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s visitors might notice some new tiles that have been added to the Pillars.
