The rules are simple \u2013 create a dish that somehow references a book, whether it\u2019s the title, a character or a situation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPeople have been really creative,\u201d Pendleton said. \u201cYou just need to tie it in so people will understand it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Austin Peay\u2019s event, which is open to faculty, staff and students, coincides with National Library Week, April 7th-13th, and judges will award prizes in several categories, including best in show, people\u2019s choice, punniest and most literary.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt doesn\u2019t have to taste good because it won\u2019t be judged on taste,\u201d Pendleton said. Then she paused. \u201cBut it wouldn\u2019t hurt.
