\"ClarksvilleClarksville, TN<\/strong> – The Fourth Annual Run for C.O.P.S. will kick off the 2018 National Law Enforcement Week with a fun, non-competitive, fitness event for the whole family. This 5k will take place in Historic Downtown Clarksville starting at the Clarksville Police Department and going through the downtown area.<\/p>\n

The event will take place Saturday, May 11th, 2019 from 9:00am until 11:00am.<\/p>\n

Clarksville Police Department’s annual Run for C.O.P.S. 5k Run-Walk<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

Runners and walkers are welcome to participate in this event, as are persons with strollers and \/or leashed non-aggressive dogs. All participants will receive a premium dry fit race shirt if registered by noon May 2nd, 2018 . This is not a chipped event and all proceeds will help support the local C.O.P.S. organization.<\/p>\n

This year Montgomery County Animal Care and Control will have adoptable dogs at the event to walk half or all of the course with those interested.<\/p>\n

Volunteers for the event will be representing C.O.P.S. (Concerns of Police Survivors) which is a 501(c)3 that raises money to assist families who have lost a loved one in the line of duty.<\/p>\n

Registered participants will receive an e mail from Capt Thornton inquiring about shirt sizes.<\/p>\n

Free parking in the downtown area.<\/p>\n

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n
