This February, the Austin Peay State University (APSU) Registrar\u2019s Office will host the Spring 2019 Graduation Gala, and all APSU students participating in the Spring commencement ceremony are encouraged to attend this important, celebratory event from 2:00pm-5:30pm on February 26th, or from 10:00am-2:00pm on February 27th in the Morgan University Center Ballroom.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_443038\" style=\"width: 490px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/APSU-to-host-Spring-Graduation-Gala-February-26th-27th.jpg\"  class=\"thickbox no_icon\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-443038\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-443038\" title=\"APSU Spring Graduation Gala set for February 26th-27th.\" src=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/APSU-to-host-Spring-Graduation-Gala-February-26th-27th-480x320.jpg\" alt=\"APSU Spring Graduation Gala set for February 26th-27th.\" width=\"480\" height=\"320\"\/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-443038\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">APSU Spring Graduation Gala set for February 26th-27th.<\/p><\/div>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>For graduating seniors, the Graduation Gala is a one-stop shop in preparation for the big day, allowing them to celebrate their accomplishments while also making sure there are no hiccups to prevent them from receiving a diploma.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe want to ensure that our students are being taken care of,\u201d Telaina Wrigley, APSU registrar, said. \u201cWe\u2019ll be there so they can resolve any pending requirements they may have for graduation.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>At the gala, seniors may:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Pick up their cap and gown.<\/li>\n<li>Have a resume\u2019 reviewed by the APSU Office of Career Services.<\/li>\n<li>Have the application fee waived if they are applying to graduate school.<\/li>\n<li>Have a professional photograph taken, compliments of APSU Student Publications.<\/li>\n<li>Complete an exit interview for the Financial Aid Office.<\/li>\n<li>complete a Perkins Loan exit interview with the Bursar\u2019s Office.<\/li>\n<li>Schedule a senior exit exam.<\/li>\n<li>Order a commencement CD of the ceremony.<\/li>\n<li>Order invitations, class rings and APSU memorabilia.<\/li>\n<li>Receive a gift from the SGA.<\/li>\n<li>Receive their first official \u201calumni\u201d t-shirt from the APSU Alumni Office.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Refreshments will be provided, as will a \u201cKid Zone\u201d for students with children, and all participants will be entered into a drawing for a free tablet (APSU employees are not eligible to win).<\/p>\n<p>More information is available at <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.apsu.edu\/registrar\/graduationgala\" >www.apsu.edu\/registrar\/graduationgala<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Austin Peay State University (APSU) Clarksville, TN &#8211;
