Clarksville Civil War Roundtable <\/h2>\n

\"Clarksville<\/a>Clarksville, TN<\/strong> – The next meeting of the Clarksville Civil War Roundtable will be on Wednesday, December 19th, 2018 at the Bone & Joint Center, 980 Professional Park Drive, right across the street from Tennova Heathcare. This is just off Dunlop Lane and Holiday Drive and only a few minutes east of Governor\u2019s Square mall.<\/p>\n

The meeting begins at 7:00pm and is always open to the public. Members please bring a friend or two \u2013 new recruits are always welcomed.<\/p>\n

Our speaker this month is Clarksville Civil War Roundtable member and former educator Ed Sneed. He has taught at Austin Peay State University and Clarksville High School.<\/p>\n

His topic is: \u201cUlysses S. Grant\u201d<\/p>\n

This month’s program will delve into the life and career of Ulysses S. Grant, the man who won the Civil War in the east and became a U.S president. Yet his life was full of failure and redemption as he rose to command the Union Army and spend years in the White House.<\/p>\n

His memoirs remain today among the best ever written by an American military and political figure.<\/p>\n
