Downtown Commons Winter Ice Rink<\/h2>\n

\"DowntownClarksville, TN<\/strong> – Several people come together to sponsor the return of the Downtown Commons Winter Ice Rink.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, November 21st, 2018 Downtown Commons Winter Ice Rink sponsors gathered to unveil new elements of the ice-skating operations.<\/p>\n

In addition to the ice rink being 49% larger than last year, F&M Bank returns as the Winter Ice Rink Title Sponsor with a custom mural wall that was painted by Clarksville Academy students.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe F&M Bank mural wall is a great place for people to take pictures that will commemorate their time on the ice,\u201d stated Paula Atkins Downtown Commons Event Manager.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur hope is that people will post their pictures on social media and tag the Downtown Commons Winter Ice Rink,\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n

Another new addition this year is the bright green Skate Shack sponsored and painted by Servpro of Montgomery County. The Skate Shack is where skaters will pick up and return their skates and helmets.<\/p>\n

Both the mural and the Skate Shack were painted with material donated by Lowes on Madison Street through a partnership with Store Manager Nathan Clark and Steve Butler of Valspar Paints.<\/p>\n

\u201cWithout partnerships with F&M Bank, Servpro, Clarksville Academy, Lowes, and Valspar these new features would not have been possible,\u201d added Norman Quirion.<\/p>\n

The Downtown Commons Winter Ice rink is scheduled to run November 23rd, 2018 through January 21st, 2019 and will be open on November 24th from 4:00pm to 9:00pm.<\/p>\n

Regular operating hours will be Thursdays and Fridays from 4:00pm to 9:30pm, Saturdays from 10:00am to 9:30pm, and Sundays from 2:00pm to 9:30pm. Hours will vary on holidays and during school breaks and special events.<\/p>\n

Tickets are $12.00 for adults and $10.00 for children under 12, for government employees, and for APSU students. Private party rentals are also available. While at the Downtown Commons Winter Ice Rink don\u2019t forget to check Golly G\u2019s newest location.<\/p>\n

The top tier sponsors for the 2018-2019 ice skating season are Ice Rink sponsors: F&M Bank, Century 21 Platinum Properties\/Platinum Realty, Servpro of Montgomery County, and the Blackhorse Pub & Brewery.<\/p>\n
