December Eve!<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_438202\" style=\"width: 490px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/APSU-Christmas-Concert.jpg\"  class=\"thickbox no_icon\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-438202\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-438202\" title=\"The David Steinquest and Friends Christmas concert at Austin Peay State University.\" src=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/APSU-Christmas-Concert-480x320.jpg\" alt=\"The David Steinquest and Friends Christmas concert at Austin Peay State University.\" width=\"480\" height=\"320\"\/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-438202\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The David Steinquest and Friends Christmas concert at Austin Peay State University.<\/p><\/div>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s music is comprised of selections from \u201cWhile Shepherds Watched\u201d by We Three &amp; the Kings, \u201cDo You Hear What I Hear\u201d by Paul Carrol Binkley, \u201cChristmas Pageant\u201d by Family Force 5 and \u201cMy Holiday\u201d by Mindy Smith, as well as a few new selections written for this concert.<\/p>\n<p>The concert includes Christmas standards like \u201cThe Twelve Days of Christmas,\u201d \u201cThe Little Drummer Boy,\u201d \u201cWhile Shepherds Watched,\u201d \u201cI Wonder as I Wander,\u201d \u201cCarol of the Bells,\u201d \u201cAway in a Manger,\u201d \u201cO Come, O Come Emmanuel\u201d and \u201cSilent Night.\u201d However, the tunes are dressed up in unusual and innovative arrangements that give them new life.<\/p>\n<p>The show will have a homey atmosphere with the stage set up like a living room complete with Christmas decorations!<\/p>\n<p>The performance is 7:30pm Friday, November 30th, in The George and Sharon Mabry Concert Hall.<\/p>\n<p>Admission is two cans of food, which will be donated to Loaves and Fishes, or $5.00. Bring your cans of food to the music office in the Music\/Mass Communication Building, Room 139.
