The aircraft will depart at approximately 1:00pm.<\/p>\n<p>A similar training took place last April when three Tennessee National Guard helicopters transported Austin Peay\u2019s ROTC cadets to Milan, Tennessee.<\/p>\n<p>The University\u2019s Governors Guard ROTC program is one of the best programs in the nation, having won an unprecedented seven MacArthur Awards.<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\">\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Black Hawks landing at APSU\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/KjvBGhlakRI?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>That award, presented by Cadet Command and the General Douglas MacArthur Foundation, recognizes the top eight programs in the country each year.
