Covering the spectrum of the blues from traditional to progressive along with Southern rock, funk, pop and a dab of country, Nightmasters is a Clarksville-based brotherhood of seasoned, multi-talented performers.<\/p>\n
The Nightmasters are Ken Jolly and Sam Haines on guitars and vocals; Isaac Frost, bass and vocals; Jon Hassell, keyboards, harmonica and vocals; Tim Seay, drums and vocals; and Henry Rives on saxophone<\/p>\n
Jammin’ in the Alley, a longstanding summer concert series designed for all ages, showcases the best of Clarksville’s vibrant, homegrown musical talent. The series will continue July 6th with the Joel Brown Band and finish August 3rd with a performance by The Beagles.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is a seasonal event created to promote Downtown and show where Clarksville started and how it is growing today,\u201d John Shepherd, Jammin\u2019 organizer, said. \u201cBusinesses will be open, restaurants will offer outdoor dining so concert-goers can enjoy the music with their meals. Jammin\u2019 in the Alley is a great opportunity to see everything Downtown Clarksville has to offer.\u201d<\/p>\n
Each year, Jammin in the Alley donates proceeds from the events to nonprofit charities. The 2018 proceeds will be donated to Keely\u2019s Friends Dog Rescue, a nonprofit that has rescued more than 650 dogs throughout Tennessee and the southeast region.<\/p>\n
\u201cEvery year the event grows,\u201d Shepherd said. \u201cThis year will be just as enjoyable with some really great local bands.\u201d<\/p>\n
Jammin\u2019 in the Alley sponsors Empire Realty, Budweiser of Clarksville and Appleton Harley Davidson contribute their support, along with the City of Clarksville, to make these free outdoor concerts possible.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
