\"HilltopClarksville, TN<\/strong> – Hilltop Supermarket hosted its 23rd annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 31st, 2018 with food, face painting, inflatables, games, and one of the biggest egg hunts in town.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis has been going on since I was a little kid,\u201d Cody Jackson said. \u201cWe put out somewhere between 10,000 and 11,000 eggs this year. But, it may be even more than 11,000, we lost count.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jackson says it takes a while to put that many eggs out, but they’re all gone in a matter of minutes.<\/p>\n

\"Hilltop<\/a>

Hilltop Market hosted its annual Easter Egg Hunt, this year with more than 10,000 eggs placed on the lawn.<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\u201cI would say, it might take the kids about two minutes, if that, to collect all those eggs,\u201d Jackson said. \u201cIt’s so much fun to watch them. This is a good event. It’s all free, and it’s all for the community. We have a lot of local sponsors, local businesses all around us, who help us out in one way or another. All the businesses on this side of the river really pull together, and just get it done.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jackson wanted to give thanks to all this year’s sponsors, and mention them by name. Custom Clean, Jimmy Miller Construction, Mark Davis Trucking, Wyatt Body Shop, U-Jumpin’ Foulks, Grandma’s House, Cumberland Bank & Trust, Satellite Electronics, Movies & More, Jackson’s Body Shop, MSC Insurance, and Diamond H Farm, Feed & Supply.<\/p>\n

\u201cBecause of all these great sponsors, we are able to give away a ton of prizes,\u201d Jackson said. \u201cOur grand prizes are bicycles, smaller prizes include little video games, Nerf guns, things like that. This year, there are four bikes for each age group, and we have four age groups, 4 and under, 5-7, 8-10, and 11 and up.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jackson was also quick to praise all the different groups who volunteer, saying this annual event couldn’t happen without them.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Palmyra Volunteer Fire Department has helped us a great deal today, as well as the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office,\u201d Jackson said. \u201cThere was a trailer set up where people could get free hot dogs and soft drinks. Donations were accepted, and all that money will go to the Palmyra Volunteer Fire Department.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Montgomery Central High School cheerleaders came out too. They donated their time to help with face painting and cupcake decorating. They also made sure all the kids stayed safe on the bouncy houses. Everybody around here looks forward to this, it really is all about the community.\u201d<\/p>\n
