Montgomery County Mayor Jim Durrett, Chief of Staff Jeff Truitt, City of Clarksville Chief of Administration Charlie Gentry and Chamber President Melinda Shepard congratulated and thanked the company for their efforts at their green ribbon cutting.<\/p>\n

 When Mayor Durrett asked what things MSC had done, Partner Kevin Judish who led the green effort, described some of the changes they made. \u201cWe switched to more efficient lighting indoors and outdoors and added occupancy sensors which gave us immediate savings.”<\/p>\n

“We\u2019ve been long-time recyclers of cardboard, plastic and cans and we return ink cartridges for reuse. Many of our policies are emailed rather than printed to customers and that saves on time paper and ink as well as postage fees. We also added a water filtration system which eliminated the need for bottled water for employees. We have a list of other things we want to do to keep moving forward as well,\u201d stated Judish.<\/p>\n

Judish gave Account Manager Jackie Camp credit for their efforts as well, stating that she has been one of the agencies\u2019 biggest advocates for recycling and conserving resources.<\/p>\n

Durrett asked the employees if they were making some of the same efforts at home to which many of the employees agreed that they were.<\/p>\n
