\"Clarksville-MontgomeryClarksville, TN<\/strong> – The Teen Program is back at the Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library! On December 22nd and 29th, from 5:00pm-6:30pm, the library is hosting Teen Board Game Night in the small meeting room. Teens are encouraged to bring their favorite games and a friend.<\/p>\n

On January 7th, 2017, the Teen Anime Club returns with a movie showing of \u201cThe Boy and the Beast.\u201d The movie will be shown in the large meeting room at 2:00pm.<\/p>\n

Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library<\/p><\/div>\n

Teens who would like to help plan and carry out Teen programs, suggest books and magazines for the Young Adult Collection and help create an interesting Teen area should apply for the Teen Advisory Board (TAB).<\/p>\n

The main objective of the board is to involve teens in the functioning of the library by seeking their ideas on programs, services, and materials specifically for teens, thereby improving Young Adult Services and the Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library.<\/p>\n

Board members will also help publicize the library\u2019s Teen activities and submit book reviews or articles for the Teen newsletter. In order to be a member of the board, the student must be in grades 7-12, have parental permission, attend and participate in TAB meetings, help with and attend Teen programs, and help with the Friends of the Library Used Book Sale.<\/p>\n

Members will be selected based on applications, Selected members will be notified by email and will have an opportunity to influence library decisions and add to their college, job, and scholarship applications. Meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month from January-May at 5:00pm-6:00pm in the large meeting room at the library.<\/p>\n
