It is open nightly from 5:00pm-10:00pm Sunday through Thursday, and 5:00pm-11:00pm Fridays and Saturdays through January 1st, 2017.<\/p>\n<p>Admission is free. To learn more call 931.645.7476.<\/p>\n<h3>New Providence Pool<\/h3>\n<div id=\"attachment_97360\" style=\"width: 490px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/Indoor-Aquatic-Center.jpg\"  class=\"thickbox no_icon\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-97360\" class=\"wp-image-97360 size-medium\" title=\"New Providence Indoor Pool.\" src=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/Indoor-Aquatic-Center-480x320.jpg\" alt=\"New Providence Indoor Pool.\" height=\"320\" width=\"480\"\/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-97360\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">New Providence Indoor Pool.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The Clarksville\u2019s Parks and Recreation Department invites you to enjoy New Providence Pool, located at 168 Cunningham Lane, this fall and winter!<\/p>\n<p>New Providence Pool is the only public indoor pool in the City of Clarksville.<\/p>\n<p>The pool offers swim lessons, water fitness classes, lap swim, and open swimming through May. The pool also offers a children&#8217;s pool area, a climbing wall, diving board, and a concession stand for drinks and snacks. An ADA accessible hydraulic lift chair allows those with special needs to enjoy the pool.<\/p>\n<p>The facility is open daily Monday-Thursday from 9:00am to 12:00pm and 3:30pm until 8:00pm. Lap swim is available Monday- Friday from 6:30am to 9:00am.&nbsp; Weekend hours are 12:00pm to 6:00pm on Saturdays and 1:00pm to 6:00pm on Sundays.<\/p>\n<p>Daily admission is only $3.00 Monday-Friday, and $5.00 Saturday and Sunday. Seasonal and year-round pool passes are also available.<\/p>\n<p>From Toddler Splash to Silver Splash, New Providence Pool is once again offering a variety of programming for all ages.<\/p>\n<h3>New Year\u2019s Eve Splash<\/h3>\n<p>Ring in the New Year with family and friends at the family-friendly New Year\u2019s Eve Splash on December 31st beginning at 8:30pm. It\u2019s the perfect way to celebrate the start of 2017. Enjoy music, refreshments and free access to \u201cThe Aqua Run\u201d wibit and \u201cThe Aqua Climb\u201d climbing wall.&nbsp; Pool partiers can also enjoy a giant, inflatable waterslide! Don\u2019t miss the beach ball drop at midnight.<\/p>\n<p>No need to reserve your spot! 2016 New Year&#8217;s Eve Splash festivities are included with daily admission ($5.00). Open to all ages, though minors ages 17 and under must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian after 10:00pm.<\/p>\n<h3>Chocolate Affair<\/h3>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/2017-Chocolate-Affair.jpg\"  class=\"thickbox no_icon\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-370222\" title=\"2017 Chocolate Affair\" src=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/2017-Chocolate-Affair-480x339.jpg\" alt=\"2017 Chocolate Affair\" height=\"339\" width=\"480\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>On February 4th, 2017 Clarksville Parks and Recreation will hold the annual Chocolate Affair at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center. The event will feature sweet and savory treats from local businesses.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sessions are:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Afternoon Chocolate Affair (Session 1) \u2013 2:00pm to 4:00pm<br \/>\nEvening Chocolate Affair (Session 2) \u2013 6:00pm to 8:00pm<\/p>\n<p>The afternoon session, happening from 2:00pm to 4:00pm, is more casual (kids are permitted), while a more upscale affair with dancing and a cash bar will round out the evening from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Each attendee (except children younger than age 2) must have a ticket. Soft drinks will be available for purchase during the event.<\/p>\n<p>Tickets are $15.00 each.
