\"Clarskville'sClarksville, TN<\/strong> – Clarksville’s own traditional acoustic Celtic band is bringing their unique brand of Christmas cheer to the corner of Franklin and First for the second year in a row. <\/p>\n

In a much-anticipated follow-up to last year’s “Celtic Christmas Concert,” Red River Breeze will perform classic holiday tunes and carols with a Celtic flair at the Roxy Regional Theatre on Sunday, December 11th, at 3:00pm.<\/p>\n

The group\u2019s previous shows at the Roxy, including one held this past July, have consistently sold out.  And, with ticket sales already strong, this December\u2019s concert appears to be following the same course.  <\/p>\n

Featuring the same creative energy and first-rate musicianship which entertained a packed house last December, this year\u2019s concert will highlight Stephanie Taylor on hammered dulcimer and recorders; Melanie Beck on fiddle and bouzouki; Vanessa Green on Irish whistle and bodhran; Esther Sooter on cello and vocals; and David Magers on guitar, mountain dulcimer and hammered dulcimer. <\/p>\n

Attendees can also expect a few surprises in the form of several special guest performers.<\/p>\n

Red River Breeze is an acoustic instrumental quintet playing traditional Celtic, Renaissance, Old-Time and World music.  The group, which has been in existence for over fifteen years, has five albums to their name: Friday Night Favorites (May 2006), Morgan’s Song (October 2009), The Wren at the Window (October 2011), The Bird Whisperer (May 2015) and The Babe of Bethlehem (December 2015).<\/p>\n

The concert will run approximately two hours, including two 45-minute sets and a brief intermission.  Copies of the band’s recordings will be available for purchase during intermission and following the performance.<\/p>\n
