\"ClarksvilleClarksville, TN<\/strong> \u2013 The 8th Annual Fright on Franklin, presented by The City of Clarksville and Altra Federal Credit Union, will take place on Saturday, October 29th from 3:00pm to 6:00pm in Downtown Clarksville.<\/p>\n

This free, family-friendly event is for adults and kids of all ages and will feature safe trick-or-treating, a hayride, costume contests, and much more!<\/p>\n

Fright on Franklin<\/p><\/div>\n

Once again, pre-registration for the costume contests is required. There will be no registration the day of the event.<\/p>\n

Contest participants can register online now through October 27th at the Clarksville Parks and Recreation office (102 Public Square) or online at www.cityofclarksville.com\/fright<\/a><\/p>\n

The contest is free to enter. Register early; there are a limited number of spots per category.<\/p>\n

Categories include Newborn to two-years-old at 3:15pm, three- to six-years-old at 3:45pm, seven- to nine-years-old at 4:15pm, 10- to 12-years-old at 4:45pm, and group costumes at 5:15pm. Preference will be given to original costumes in all age categories. Registrants are asked to arrive 15 minutes prior to their scheduled time to check-in. All costumes should be in good taste and appropriate for a family event.<\/p>\n

Fright on Franklin will also feature 70 trick-or-treat booths, pumpkin bowling, a hayride, photo booth and food vendors! Like us on Facebook (www.facebook.com\/clarksvilleparksandrec)<\/a> for inside information on all the upcoming festivities.<\/p>\n
