In 1955, \u201cPicnic\u201d was adapted for the screen, and won two Academy Awards, as well as four additional nominations, including Best Movie and Best Picture.<\/p>\n<p>The curtain rises at 7:30pm for performances on September 28th through October 1st, while the October 2nd performance begins at 2:00pm.
